Cotuit Center for the Arts presents a Winter Solstice Celebration, an interactive medieval celebration including short medieval plays, madrigals, carols old and new, and dance, that will set the tone for this unique family-oriented theatrical production. The main theater will be set with long banquet tables adorned with greenery, candles and festive tapestries. The audience is invited to bring their own dinner to enjoy during the festivities. Wenches will provide the mulled cider and sweets. Adult beverages will also be available for purchase.
A special benefit performance will be held Saturday, December 10 in support of Cotuit Center for the Arts’ Educational Program. All proceeds from this performance will benefit the educational program and help fund scholarships and supplies for the education program. There is no additional fee to attend this performance, but there may be a few surprises.
