HAC’s Annual Meeting Set for April 11

Friends and supporters are invited to join Housing Assistance Corporation at its 37th annual meeting, at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, at the Cotuit Center for the Arts, 4404 Route 28, Cotuit. Registration begins at 5 p.m.

HAC will honor several people who have worked to make Cape Cod and the Islands a stronger community. Among them will be this year’s winner of the Presbrey Public Service Award, Dr. Kathleen Schatzberg, who will be honored in recognition of her work as president of Cape Cod Community College since 1998.

Shepley Wood Products and Cape Associates, both longtime supporters of affordable housing, will receive this year’s Business Partner of the Year awards. Horizons for Homeless Children will accept the Human Services Partner Award.

For the second year, HAC will unveil a special art exhibit by Cornell University’s Alternative Spring Break Program in collaboration with HAC shelter families.

Hearty hors d’oeuvres by Chef Roland of Falmouth will be served, and a cash bar will be available. Admission is $20. RSVP by sending an email tomjohnson@haconcapecod.org.
