Moya Brennan to Perform at Cotuit Center for the Arts

The A.L.S. Family Charitable Foundation presents, Voices & Harps, featuring Moya Brennan, widely considered the First Lady of Celtic Music and Irish Harp Virtuoso, Cormac De Barra.

The concert will be at the Cotuit Center for the Arts, Friday, March 9 at 7:30pm, followed by a meet and greet with the artists, cash bar featuring Cape Cod Beer, house and premium wines and signature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $38.50 each.

Moya Brennan was host of last year’s PBS special on the History of Irish Music,Music of Ireland - Welcome Home. She has recently performed with the group Tea with the Maggies, and collaborated on the benefit song for the Victims of The Magdalene Laundries “From a Distance” with Sinead O’Connor and Daniel O’Donnell.

Her beautiful voice has graced 17 albums with Clannad and a raft of breathtaking releases under her own name, as well as TV's Harry's Game, and the films Last of the Mohicans and Robin of Sherwood. Proceeds from the fundraiser benefit the A.L.S. Family Charitable Foundation, Inc. a non-profit dedicated to raising and distributing funds for research and patient services for those suffering from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (A.L.S.) commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
