Ride on Duke's Train and Get a Taste of Jazz, Soul Food w/ Centerville Author

If you like Duke Ellington, jazz, soul food, books, and history, we’ve got a great day for you and your family.  Mark this date – Saturday, February 4, beginning at 1 p.m.  

That’s when you can meet author Mick Carlon, whose “Riding on the Duke’s Train” has become one of the hottest books for music lovers of all ages, who will be selling and signing copies of his book to benefit the Hyannis Public Library and the Zion Union Heritage Museum.

The event is being held at the museum, located at 276 North Street in Hyannis.  In addition to Mick’s memories, there will be music by local groups during the afternoon, plus tastings of soul food by the museum’s own John Reed.

Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $5 for students or $20 for a whole family – and that includes the works. You can buy your tickets at the Hyannis Public Library or the Zion Union Heritage Museum during regular business hours.

All aboard, take the A-Train Saturday, February 4^th!
