Cape Cod Healthcare is pleased to announce that a special breast cancer symposium on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 9 am to noon at the beautiful National Academy of Sciences building in Woods Hole, 314 Quissett Avenue.
The symposium – “A Healing Journey” – is open to the public. It will feature health care professionals who will educate attendees on the breast cancer journey, each step along the way. Fifteen-minute talks will highlight each of the health care professionals who care for breast cancer patients along the journey: radiologist; pathologist; surgeon; medical oncologist; radiation oncologist; reconstructive surgeon; lymphedema therapist; rehabilitation specialist; and social worker/survivorship expert.
