Arts Foundation of Cape Cod to Host Volunteer for the Arts Fair

will be welcoming the public to its campus, which it shares with the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, for its first ever Volunteer for the Arts Fair on Friday, June 17 from 1 to 3 p.m.

"We know how important volunteer work is to all of the non-profit arts organizations all over the Cape, and depend on it ourselves for the mounting of our annual fundraiser, TD Bank Pops by the Sea," said Program Coordinator Kiley Donovan. "This informal Volunteer for the Arts Fair will be a chance for the many able and willing volunteers of the area to meet with reps from some of the bigger arts organizations and venues that value their donated time and talent."

The Fair will take place on the lawn at the AFCC/Chamber campus. The AFCC will be discussing TD Bank Pops by the Sea volunteer opportunities, and Cape Cod Volunteers will be on hand to show new volunteers how to use their website to find the right match for their interests and skill sets. The Cape Cod Museum of Art, the Cultural Center of Cape Cod, and the Cotuit Center for the Arts will provide information on the many fun and varied opportunities to be involved with the busy programming of their venues.
