Barnstable Police Blotter: Feb. 3

Suspicious individuals, larceny and reports of harassment kept police busy yesterday.

The following incidents, accidents and arrests took place in the town of Barnstable.  All information was taken from the log, includes all arrests and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  

Thursday, February, 3, 2011

12:30 a.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at KMart in Hyannis.

1:24 a.m. - There was a report of larceny at Brito's Auto Body & Sales on Yarmouth Rd. in Hyannis.

2:32 a.m. - A medical call was answered at 190 Fawcett Ln. in Hyannis.

5:35 a.m. - A suspicious person was reported at Cromwell Courts in Hyannis.

9:06 a.m. - Unwanted harassment was reported at Day's Inn on Iyannough Rd. in Hyannis. The individual was gone by the time police arived.

11:49 a.m. - Unwanted harassment was reported at 38 Old Town Rd. in Hyannis; the responsible individual was transported to the hospital; no arrests were made.

12:35 p.m. - A distrubance was reported at Kimber Woods in West Barnstable, and a report was taken.

No time available - Harassment was serviced at Barnstable High School.

2:01 p.m. - Spencer Cook (age 20) of 411 Upper County Rd. in Dennisport was arrested  for trespassing and harassment in the Cape Cod Mall Parking Lot. 

4:18 p.m. - A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at 188 Marstons Lane in Barnstable. The vehicle was gone before the police arrived.

No time available - A restraining order was served at 525 Ocean Street, Apt. 6, Hyannis.

No time available - A larceny was reported at Verizon Wireless on Iyannough Road, Hyannis.

No time available - Harassment was reported at The Village at Fawcett's Pond on West Main Street, Hyannis, and a report was taken.

No time available - Police were called regarding a disturbance at the Craigville Motel in Centerville.

8:25 p.m. - Police were called for medical assistance at 8 Cardinal Lane in Marstons Mills; the individual was transported to the hospital.

8:43 p.m. - A restraining order was served at 89 Emerson Way, Centerville.

9:34 p.m. - Ira Lee Ward of 73 New London Ave, Marstons Mills was arrested during a motor vehicle stop for Operating a Vehicle with a suspended license, suspended registration, and without insurance.
