Barnstable Police Looking For Credit Card Theft Suspect

Police said the suspect bought $5,000 worth of merchandise on a stolen credit card at Best Buy at the Cape Cod Mall.

BARNSTABLE, MA — Barnstable police have asked for the public's help identifying a man they said stole someone's credit card and charged thousands if dollars on it during a trip to the Cape Cod Mall.

On Monday, officers were called to the mall and discovered the man went to Best Buy and used the credit card to buy $5,000 worth of products, including two Dell gaming laptops, police said.

Anyone with information that can help identify the suspect is asked to call Barnstable police at 508-778-3820 or send a private message to the department's Facebook account.
