Discover the creative possibilities of glass in this fun, hands-on workshop! Using crushed glass, known as frit, you'll learn how to layer and shape vibrant glass to create a beautiful fall landscape perfect for displaying in your home.
Design your own unique scene by building colorful trees, falling leaves, and other seasonal elements. With a rich palette of autumn colors, you'll create a one-of-a-kind piece of glass art that captures the beauty of the season.
After class, your artwork will be kiln-fired and will be ready for pickup approximately one week later. Shipping is also available for an additional $18.99 if needed.

Painting With Frit: Fall Landscape Glass Fusing Workshop

Refine your control and build confidence in the flame in this focused, hands-on borosilicate workshop. This class is all about developing steady hands, understanding heat control, and mastering smooth, intentional rotation—essential skills for shaping glass with precision.
Students will begin by creating vibrant, solid marbles, learning how to evenly heat and shape the glass. From there, you’ll transform those forms by stretching and twisting them into elegant icicles, discovering how subtle changes in heat and movement can dramatically alter the final design.
Along the way, you’ll also learn techniques for adding pendant loops, giving you the option to turn your creations into wearable or hangable pieces. This class blends technical skill-building with creativity, resulting in beautiful, functional glass art.
Safety &amp; What to Expect Held at the HyArts Campus Flamework Studio. Participants must wear 100% cotton or linen clothing (no synthetic fabrics) and closed-toe shoes; long hair must be tied back. This class is for the dancer who wants a bit more of a challenge and has taken the Beginning Ballet Basics class or who has studied ballet before.&nbsp; The class incorporates a barre, stretch and center floor work that requires more balance and core strength, but is doable for any age.&nbsp; Learn new steps, ballet vocabulary, port de bras and positions set to beautiful music that will encourage the inner dancer in you.&nbsp; The class is taught by a ballet dancer/instructor with years of professional dancing and teaching experience.&nbsp;6 Tuesdays, 10-11am

This class is for the dancer who is ready for more advanced barre work, stretch and center combinations requiring increased strength, flexibility, cardio stamina and balance.&nbsp; The class contains various ballet turns, center adagio work, followed by petit allegro for footwork, and some grand allegro to finish. &nbsp; Port de bras integration is used throughout the class.&nbsp; Pointe will be taught the last 30 minutes of the class.&nbsp; Those students who have instructor approval will dance in pointe, but all in the class are encouraged to stay and do the pointe work in ballet slippers.&nbsp; Come dance and be encouraged by a professional dancer/instructor with many years of helping dancers realize their dance goals.&nbsp;6 Tuesdays, 5:45 - 7:15pm

Appointments are typically 5 minutes per item and limited to three items per person.
$10 Per Item
APPOINTMENT IS REQUIRED
No walk-in will be accepted!
