Cape Cod Man Pleads Guilty To Child Pornography Charges

DENNIS, MA — A Dennis Port man admitted having had nearly 500 images of child pornography on his phone, federal prosecutors said.

Sean Gleason, 36, pleaded guilty Thursday to receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography.

Gleason was arrested in September 2019 after federal agents conducted a search warrant at his Dennis Port home. Authorities said they found at least 498 pictures and one video of child pornography. Prosecutors said the pictures included images of infants, toddlers and prepubescent children.

Gleason was scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 18. Both charges carry a sentence of five to 20 years in prison and a fine of u to $250,000.
