Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra Announces 2010 Scholarship Winners
The Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra announced its two scholarship winners and is calling for submissions for the 2011 scholarship awards.
Below is a note from the The Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra inviting student musicians to apply for its annual Young Artists’ Competition for a chance to win one one of two $1,000 scholarship, The Emil Kornsand String Scholarship Award or the Orchestra Instrument Scholarship Award.
The competition is open to musicians, ages 14-18, who play string or orchestral instruments. The musicians will perform during a competitive audition process on April 3, 2011, at the Cape Cod Conservatory of Music & Arts’ Barnstable campus. Competitors will be judged on their level of proficiency relative to their age and length of study. The scholarships are intended for further music study with an instructor of choice.
