Cotuit Center for the Arts Presents 'Free Movie Night
On Monday, April 9 stop by Cotuit Center for the Arts for free movie night.

The Historical Society of Santuit and Cotuit and Cotuit Center for the Arts will present “The Crossing” on Monday, April 9, at 7 PM at the arts center. It is the final film of the season in the monthly winter historical film festival. Admission is free.
Jeff Daniels stars as George Washington in this award-winning film about the Revolutionary War. Following a series of defeats, Washington leads the Continental Army across the Delaware River on Christmas night 1776, surprising the Hessian garrison at Trenton the next morning, and changing the course of the war.
“The Crossing,” which came out in 2000, was based on the book of the same name by Howard Fast and was praised for its historical accuracy. It won the Peabody Award for excellence in 2001.
