Cotuit Kids! Summer Art Education Program Launches
Get the kids out of the house and into the arts this summer.

Cotuit Center for the Arts is launching its summer education programs which consits of 18 unique classes in music, visual and performing arts for students of all ages, as well a new summer arts camp “Cotuit Kids!”
Cotuit Kids! is a summer arts camp program for kids 6 - 10 years old, exploring drama, visual arts, movement, music and general creativity in a creative and fun setting. The August 4-week camp is divided into week-long modules, each with a specific focus. The courses are designed so that kids may participate in 1, 2, 3 or all 4 sessions. Cotuit Center for the Arts is proud to partner with Harwich Junior Theater on two of the courses through HJT’s renowned theater education outreach program.
Executive Director David Kuehn said, “we are pleased to announce our summer education program at Cotuit Center for the Arts. We have designed a broad-based curriculum with something for everyone. There are classes for more advanced and serious students of the visual arts. There are classes dedicated to music and movement. We have acting classes for all ages and our first summer “camp” style program for kids funded in part through a generous grant from the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod. Some of our classes are collaborations with Harwich Junior Theater and some of our classes will take place at the Waldorf School, our friend and neighbor in Cotuit.”
