Dane Vannatter and Donna Byrne in Concert at CCftA

For the first time together on stage at Cotuit Center for the Arts.

Vocalists Dane Vannatter and Donna Byrne will be performing together for the first time at Cotuit Center for the Arts.

Dane Vannatter’s voice has been compared to Mel Torme and Johnny Mathis for its rich tone and honest emotional delivery. Fusing jazz and cabaret singing, Vannatter has an ability to make each song his own, offering intimate and heartfelt performances that appeal to diverse audiences. His repertoire includes such favorites as “Come Rain or Come Shine,” “Don't Get Around Much Anymore,” and “Do Nothin' Til You Hear From Me.”

Vannatter was awarded the 2006 Bistro Award for Outstanding Vocalist by the critics of BackStage in New York, as well as the 2000 Bistro Award for Outstanding CD for his second recording, “Flight,” and has performed in Boston, New York, Washington, DC and the West Coast.  Dane currently resides in Pittsburgh, PA.

A South Shore resident, Byrne has performed in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Baltimore, and Washington DC, and has toured Hawaii with the Benny Goodman Tribute Orchestra.
