West Barnstable resident Diana Di Gioia, accompanied by guitarist Dan Givins, will give an acoustic concert featuring new work and songs from her recent album, Out Late. The album, which has been described as “smart, sexy, funny and irreverent” and dubbed “missives from the lesbian-centric corner of the universe,” made the Out Voices top ten chart four months in a row. Di Gioia’s songs travel musically from rock and blues to folk and acoustic, with soulful harmonies and strong melodic hooks. Her new work features a more Americana sound and stories drawn from her rural Vermont roots.
This concert is free, but reservations are suggested, as seating is limited.
