Inspired by the early days of the Steppenwolf Theatre, MAGIC TIME follows a troupe of actors in a makeshift dressing room fueled by dedication and enthusiasm. Their backstage relationships cleverly mirror the onstage ones as they prepare to give their final performance of Hamlet.
Roles for 5 men and 3 women. Directed by Vana Trudeau. Performances 3/30 - 4/2 and 4/7- 4/9 at 8:00 PM and 4/3 and 4/10 at 2:00 PM.
Auditions in the Studio Theatre of the Tilden Arts Center, CCCC:
Wednesday January 26th from 1-2:30 pm
Friday January 28th from 5-8 pm
Saturday January 29th from 12-3 pm
Actors may bring a prepared monologue no more than three minutes in length. Preview scripts will be available at the CCCC Library.
