The Department of Arts and Communication at Cape Cod Community College has announced their spring production, “Magic Time,” by James Sherman.
Inspired by Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre Company, "Magic Time" follows a troupe of actors about to perform their final night of “Hamlet.” While we witness their relationships as they unfold in the dressing room before the curtain goes up, these clashes and convergences reveal the magic that happens throughout the theatrical process; in rehearsals, in performances on stage and work behind stage.
Directed by Vana Trudeau and featuring a diverse cast of student and community actors, “Magic Time” can be seen in the Studio Theatre of the Tilden Arts Center on March 31, April 1-2 and April 7-9 at 8:00 PM and April 3 and 10 at 2:00 PM.
