Louis C.K. is an award-winning comedian, writer, actor, producer and director who began his stand-up comedy career in Boston. He has performed frequently on shows like Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Jimmy Kimmel Live. He has starred in a half-hour HBO special as part of the stand-up series One Night Stand, and made the ranks of Comedy Central's list of the 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time. In 2006, he starred in his own hour-long HBO special titled Shameless, and his stand-up special, Chewed Up, premiered on Showtime in 2008. Louis also appears in several films including The Better Man, Diminished Capacity and This Side of the Truth, directed by Ricky Gervais.
