The Marstons Mills Public Library will show the documentary “Living Downstream” on Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 3:00pm-4:30pm. The movie is sponsored by GreenCAPE (www.GreenCAPE.org) and is free and open to the public. The movie follows Sandra Steingraber, Ph.D. , poet, ecologist and cancer survivor, during one pivotal year as she travels across North America, working to break the silence about cancer and its environmental links. The movie will be followed by a post-film discussion entitled “Living Downstream from NSTAR”.
