Mexican Independence Day!

To celebrate the kick off  of the Fall season, the Cultural Center is Celebrating Mexico's Independence Day on Monday September, 12th, 2011.

The actual day of celebration is September 15th and 16th.

We'll have a guest speaker to briefly talk about this historical event. Come and learn about the "Grito de Dolores" and a brief description of how this event took place, and the people involved that initiated the independence from Spain, and share in Mexico's celebration.

We can discuss ideas for upcoming events and practice our Spanish with one another in a non formal atmosphere.

Doors open at 6:30 for a 7:00pm start, $8/$5 for members.
