He’s penned songs for artists such as Aretha Franklin, Millie Jackson and Carly Simon and he’s had several of his own successes over the years including,“I Keep Forgettin' (Every Time You're Near),” “Yah Mo B There” with James Ingram and “On My Own” with Patti LaBelle.
Boz Scaggs has an equally impressive resume having worked with everyone from Steve Miller to Donald Fagan to Duane Allman and many others. The song “Lowdown” off of the 1976 release “Silk Degrees” won Boz a Grammy Award and propelled the album to more than 4 million records sold.
