"Othello" by William Shakespeare

Cape Cod Community College has announced their fall production, “Othello,” by William Shakespeare.

With a mix of student and community actors, the timeless tale of love and revenge offers a modern twist. The production, directed by Vana Trudeau, features a woman in the title role.

While the character of Othello is a Moor, “Fundamentally,” says Trudeau, “the tragedy is borne of jealousy and prejudice, not racism.”
