Senior Center Classic Movie & Dinner

The Barnstable Community Senior Center will host a Classic Movie and Dinner Evening on Thursday, September 29th, at 4pm, featuring the 1939 Victor Flemming production of Margaret Mitchell's classic novel Gone with the Wind.  Vivian Leigh plays Scarlett O'Hara, the fiery, spoiled, Southern Belle from a prosperous Georgia plantation.  The movie begins in 1861, just at the outset of hostilities with the North, carries us along with Scarlett as she suffers unrequited love, the horrors of the Civil War, Reconstruction, family strife and finally realizes what is really important in life.  Don't miss a wonderful night out and this magnificent, timeless film!
