
Tour the oldest library building in the United States! The original building was constructed in 1644 as a meetinghouse for the Reverend John Lothrop. Highlights include the Nehemiah Smith Desk, portraits of Captain William Sturgis and his family and the 1605 Lothrop Bible. Tours are at 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. There will also be children’s crafts from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
