Richard O'Brien's “THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW” tells the story of a newly engaged couple and their encounter with a mad scientist transvestite and his creation, a muscle man named Rocky.
Infamous for its audience participation and call-backs, “Rocky Horror” parodies B-grade horror movies and the McCarthy-era social identity crisis. It’s a camp-y rock musical perhaps best described as a raucous marriage between "Sweeney Todd," and "Grease."
