Reggae rules this summer with Toots and the Maytals. Considered legends of ska and reggae music, their sound is a unique combination of gospel, ska, soul, reggae and rock. Widely credited with coining the word reggae through their 1968 release "Do the Reggay," this Grammy-winning group scored numerous other hits including "Pressure Drop," "54-46 Was My Number" and "Monkey Man," the group's first international hit in 1970. Their cohesive combination of great reggae rhythms, heartfelt vocals and soulful gospel influence remains potent and powerful.
