The Cape Cod Chapter, National Railway Historical Society, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization will be celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the West Barnstable Train Station on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 10:00AM to 2:00PM. The Chapter is also celebrating their 25th Anniversary as a Chapter, inviting the public, local town officials and representatives from the All America City of Barnstable, tourists, associations and the railfans from across the state and country who travel to commemorate railroad celebrations. A program of remarks and ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:00AM. Anniversary Cake social. Live music from the Amber Crowley Band, Operation Lifesaver presentation display table, Facepainter for the kids, and Live Steamer engine rides in parking lot. All ages welcome!
