Fall for the Arts Kicks Off!

There are plenty of artsy things to do with the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod's Fall for the Arts autumn program.

The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod - in partnership with Cape Cod Media Group, Cape Cod Co-operative Bank, and Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce - launched the fourth annual Fall for the Arts Festival all across Cape Cod this week.

"The kick-off concerts were terrific," said AFCC Executive Director Kevin Howard. "But what is really great to see is how the entire arts community has recognized the potential of building and expanding this program which extends our tourism season and motivates Cape residents to get out and enjoy the many cultural gems that are all around them. Programs like this will drive the question: what arts event are you doing this week?"

The Festival will continue throughout the month of October with hundreds of activities all over the Cape. Full event listings, arranged by five "Arts Trails", can be viewed at http://artsfoundation.org/fall-for-the-arts.

The Festival's closing will be celebrated with a Masquerade Ball on Sunday, October 30 at Wychmere Harbor Club in Harwich Port. The Masquerade Ball will showcase local artists' creative designs as well as local musicians and performers.

The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod is the regional arts agency whose mission is to support, promote, celebrate, and strengthen the arts and cultural community throughout the year.
