1)  Hyannis Harbor Arts Center Exhibit

Why Go:  This event is held in an absolutely gorgeous location.  Add in the nice weather predicted for the weekend, and visiting the Hyannis Harbor Arts Center  all of a sudden sounds a lot more inviting.  The center will present their first exhibit Salt Air Encounters: Assemblages by Roberta Meg Hurlburt from Friday, July 1st through Sunday, 17th.  There will be an opening reception for this exhibit on Thursday, July 7th, from 6 to 9pm.

2) The Black Box Summer Series

Why Go:  The Cotuit Center for the Arts will present their Black Box Summer Series beginning on Friday, July 1st, weekly, through August 27th, with The Further Adventures of a Fat @ss Cancer B!#&h, a one-woman show that is an honest, witty, inspiring look at a sassy cancer patient's experience.  Tickets are $12.

3)  After Hours with DJ Johnny Brabo

Where: , 453 Main St, Hyannis, MA 02601
Date: Weekly on Fridays
Time: 10:00pm–1:00am

Why Go:  Music, tappas, and cocktails-enough said.

4)  Free Brewery Tour

Where: , 1336 Phinneys Ln, Hyannis, MA 02601
Date: Weekly on Saturdays
Time: 1:00pm–2:00pm

Why Go:  First off, it's free!  Plus you can learn how beer is made at Cape Cod's only microbrewery. Tour is open to all ages but children must be supervised. Must be 21 + to sample beers. Cape Cod Beer even has a gift shop where "beer gear" can be purchased. They also have a wide selection of products that are made on Cape Cod.

5)  DJ Billy Teed at The Steakhouse

Where: 72 North St, Hyannis, MA 02601 (The Steak House)
Date: Weekly on Saturdays
Time: 10:00pm–1:00am
Next on: Saturday, July 2, 2011

Why Go:  Grab a nice cut of steak, relax for a while, and then dance until 1am.  Head to The Steakhouse for an upbeat change to your typical Saturday night.
