1. "I Hate Hamlet" 

Where/When: Barnstable Comedy Club, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.

Why Go: Get a good laugh in while enjoying and supporting local theater.

2. Hearth 'n Kettle Fundraiser for The Luke Vincent Powers Foundation

Where/When: Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Why Go: Get 15% of your total food & beverage bill will be donated to the Luke Vincent Powers Foundation to fund an educational and recreational Playspace for pre-school aged children in a Hyannis homeless shelter.

Pricing: The cost of your bill less 15%.

3. 4th Annual Filmmaker Takeover

Where/When: Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater, Sat. and Sun. 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

Why Go: Get a taste of the big city film culture at an awesome theater. The films were juried by Provincetown International Film Festival and Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater. 

Pricing: One day pass: $9; Two day pass: $15

4. Phobia 

Where/When: Guyer Art Barn, Saturday 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Why Go: Stop by to see the new exhibit and grab a bite on Main Street.

5. 7^th Annual Firefighter’s Chili Challenge

When/When: The Resort and Conference Center of Hyannis, Sunday 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Why Go: All proceeds go to Muscular Dystrophy Association and CHILI! Sixteen Fire Departments will enter their favorite chili recipe for awards. PIXY 103 will be broadcasting live from the event.  Four live bands, Smokey the Bear and face-painting for kids, and plenty of chili for everyone
