Although Pot dispensaries are banned in 8 Cape towns (mostly on the Upper Cape) there will soon be a dozen retail dispensaries on the Outer Cape (five just in P Town with a sixth in the approval stage).
Pot shops bring in big time tax revenue- more than liquor stores. Chief MacDonald of Orleans, Chief Bohanon, Eastham and Lt. LaRocco in Wellfleet all say there have been minimal or no problems associated with the dispensaries. Heavily regulated with high start up costs, opening a pot dispensary is not for the faint of heart.
