May Means Maritime Days

Take advantage of one of the best events in North America.

Grab hold of your hats and get nautical, the 18th Annual Cape Cod Maritime Days starting today until May 31.

It all started back in 1993, when 60 activities throughout the month of May including lighthouse tours, exhibits, lectures, boat building and kayak excursions and more earned the title of one of the top 100 events in North America by the American Bus Association - but we're not busing, we're locals. What is a local to enjoy?

Everything about the town of Barnstable before the tourists roll in. Take a look at the daily schedule of events here and the ongoing events here.

In addition to events, there is a photo contest. People can submit photos that capture the true essence of Maritime Days - lighthouses, ships, museums or activities happening at one of the events.
