'No Kings,' Cape Cod May Say Again In Saturday Protests
Demonstrations are slated in MA and nationwide on March 28, and organizers think the events might be the largest yet.
CAPE COD, MA — The No Kings protests scheduled for Saturday might seem fitting on Cape Cod, the arm of land that geographically raised a clenched fist at an English king 250 years ago.
Fitting or not, the Cape will be the site of four No Kings demonstrations on March 28. Dozens of others are taking place across Massachusetts, and organizers said earlier this month that over 3,000 were slated nationwide.
Attendance could surpass the 7 million people who turned out for similar protests last October, a statement said.

The No Kings movement began in 2025 as a campaign of grassroots protests in thousands of U.S. cities and towns. Coordinated by a coalition of progressive groups such as Indivisible, the events have voiced opposition to the policies and actions of the Trump administration.
On the Cape, protests are planned Saturday in the following locations, according to the campaign’s website:

- Chatham: Unitarian Universalist Church Lawn, 819 Main St., 3-4 p.m.
- Eastham: no location listed, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Falmouth: Village Green, 54 Main St., noon to 1:30 p.m.
- Hyannis: Airport Rotary, noon to 2 p.m.
Because of the location in Hyannis, the town of Barnstable has issued an advisory urging drivers to prepare for heavy traffic and pedestrians in the roadway between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday.
Demonstrations are also planned on the islands.
On Martha's Vineyard, a No Kings event is scheduled to be held at Five Corners, Vineyard Haven, in Tisbury, from 1:30-3 p.m. A Nantucket protest is planned at the Milestone Rotary from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
