(Poem) "A House of Cards: The Flanagan Scandal"

A representative, once trusted and true,
Chris Flanagan, now a shame to pursue,
Deception and lies, his political game,
Violating laws, and causing shame.

With alias "Jeanne Louise", he tried to hide,
His financial role, and his secrets inside,
But regulators uncovered his deceitful guise,
And exposed his lies, with a condemning surprise.

Speaker Mariano spoke out, with a voice so clear,
Flanagan's actions, a betrayal, year by year,
He must resign, to restore public trust,
And end the mockery, of the democratic dust.

If he remains, it will send a dangerous sign,
That politicians can lie, and violate with impunity's shrine,
The people of Massachusetts, deserve better, it's true,
A representative, who serves with integrity, anew.

Flanagan's actions, have caused harm and pain,
To his constituents, and the political process, in vain,
He has lost credibility, and damaged the Democratic name,
Resignation, is the only way, to end this political shame.

Let us demand, accountability, and integrity, so high,
From our elected officials, we must not ask why,
The people of Massachusetts, deserve better, it's clear,
Chris Flanagan, must resign, and disappear.
