Ronald Beaty is on the ballot for Barnstable County Commissioner

BEATY IS ON THE BALLOT BY TURNING IN BARNSTABLE COUNTY COMMISSIONER NOMINATION PAPERS WITH 962 CERTIFIED VOTER SIGNATURES TO SECRETARY OF STATE

Barnstable, Cape Cod: May 06, 2022 - Regional community activist and Open Meeting Law Advocate, Ronald Beaty announced today that he is now officially on the state ballot as a 2022 Republican Candidate for Barnstable County Commissioner.

Beaty elaborated that he had recently completed all of the final legal requirements to be officially listed on the ballot. Among other things, Beaty said he had turned in nomination papers containing 962 certified voter signatures to the Elections Division of the Secretary of State's Office.

Ron Beaty explained that according to state law, only 500 certified voter signatures are actually required to get onto the ballot.

Beaty elaborated that he and his crack team of campaign volunteers had spread out all across Cape Cod during the last few months and gathered over 1,200 raw voter signatures prior to submitting them before the deadline to local Town Clerks for the voter signature certification process.Beaty said that his fiscally conservative Republican candidacy for Barnstable County Commissioner possesses very strong voter support as illustrated by the fact that he was able collect hundreds more certified voter signatures than was necessary for the office.

Ron Beaty finally said that as non-incumbent candidate for County Commissioner who has been continually involved with numerous Regional Government issues as both an activist and advocate for the public during the last several years, and as a former County Commissioner, he brings a unique skill set and wealth of experience to the table. This is something that makes him uniquely qualified as a candidate.

Ron Beaty was a former Barnstable County Commissioner from 2017 - 2021.
