Severe Thunderstorm Warning For Parts Of Cape Cod
Some areas could see strong winds and flooding, the NWS warns.
BARNSTABLE COUNTY, MA – A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of Barnstable County, according to the National Weather Service. The agency says Brewster, Orleans and Eastham could see 60 mph wind gusts, frequent lightning and minor flooding.
"Get indoors now!" the NWS tweeted around 10 a.m. The warning is expected to last until about 10:30 a.m.
A flood advisory has also been issued for the area between Dennis and Eastham until 1:15 p.m.
