Teenager Killed On Cape Cod After SUV Hits Boat Trailer
A 14-year-old boy was killed and two others were transported to Cape Cod Hospital after the crash, police said.
YARMOUTH, MA — A 14-year-old is dead after a car struck a boat trailer, pinning one person between the boat and vehicle towing it, police said.
Around 1 p.m. on Friday, the Yarmouth Police Department received calls for a person pinned between the boat and car on North Main Street, just south of the Great Western Road intersection, police said.
A truck towing a boat trailer had pulled to the side of the roadway with a broken axle and passengers had gotten out of the car attempting to fix it, police said. A Cadillac SUV traveling south on North Main Street struck the boat trailer from behind, causing it to hit the people working on the damaged axle, police said.

As a result of the crash, a 14-year-old boy was killed and two others were transported to Cape Cod Hospital. Their condition is unknown.
The operator of the Cadillac remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation, which remains ongoing.
