The Farrelly Brothers To Join Pops

A press release said, "Acclaimed screenwriters and directors Peter and Bobby Farrelly will be the celebrity guest conductors for the 26th Annual TD Bank Pops by the Sea concert. The Farrelly brothers will join the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra on the Hyannis Village Green on Sunday, August 7, 2011.

The Farrelly brothers have written and directed 10 feature films, including the instant comedy classics There's Something About Mary, Red Sox fan favorite Fever Pitch, and the 2011 box office hit Hall Pass. Hailing from Cumberland, Rhode Island, many of their films take place in New England and trademark their creative and, at times, outrageous humor. Their mother Mariann, the namesake of many of the brothers' characters, resides in New Seabury."
