Viewfinder: Chili Meets Poetry at Cotuit Center for the Arts

Great food, scintillating conversation, and moving art are key ingredients to a wonderful evening, and they came together at Cotuit Center for the Arts on Saturday evening. The night began with a chili cook-off sponsored by Cape Cod Beer and Roche Brothers, with around twenty different teams competing.
Following that, the guests moved to the auditorium to hear some original poetry by the hosts and seven other members who were ranked Olympic-style. The subject of the poems ranged from serious to humorous, but overall the spirit was light-hearted. The evening finished up with music from the Beach Plums.
