Viewfinder: Mother Nature Didn't Stop Pops
Soggy bottoms, damp clothes and the rain failed to deter guests from setting up camp with umbrellas and chairs on the Hyannis Village Green.
A Farlley brother likened yesterday's "Pops by the Sea" concert to Woodstock. It was cold, everyone was damp and soggy, and the ground was gushy - yet the music tantalized the audience.
The rain and clouds did not keep the Pops from preforming or Larry David from making a surprise guest appearance.
Hundreds of patrons filled the Hyannis Village Green and listened to songs by Gershwin, Alford, and Cole Porter.
