Viewfinder: Passport to the Arts Launch Party
Hundreds gathered at the Hyannis Transportation Center to celebrate another summer season with the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod.
The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod hosted a Passport to the Arts Launch Party at the Hyannis Transportation Center in Hyannis on Tuesday evening.
The party featured steel drum music by Eric and the Grannies, delicious food from the Island Merchant and beer provided by local brewery, Cape Cod Beer. Kevin Howard, the executive director of the Arts Foundation greeted the crowd and discussed the exciting advantages that come along with being a member and purchasing this year's Passport for the Arts.
The Passport for the Arts program offers a "passport" or booklet that can be purchased for $20 and provides discounts for up to 50 percent off to various participating shows and venues. The program is in it's 8th year and includes an impressive 52 cultural organizations.

The evening was bustling, despite a chill in the air and full of community members young and old...all with a passion to support arts and culture on Cape Cod.
