Why go: This fundraising event will feature a live and silent auction, music, great foods, and beer and wine.

Why go: Come learn about new, colorful plants. See gardens that were especially designed with purple and white flowering annuals for a September wedding. You’ll see the Fornari’s vegetable garden, Annual Alley, and Oregano Row. The fall-flowering perennials and annuals will be at their peak, and you’ll view how the many specimen trees have grown in the four years they’ve been in the garden.
Enjoy complimentary refreshments as you stroll the gardens. Walk with C.L. every hour on the hour starting at 11 a.m. as she explains her landscaping choices and speaks about particular plants. (Last tour begins at 3 p.m.) Go home with a handout that lists C.L.’s favorite annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees.
