We stumble, fall, and rise, in endless, mortal pace
Yet mercy's gentle hand, we often fail to embrace

The wounded, vulnerable, and worn, we overlook
Unseen, unheard, and unloved, with tearless, hardened gaze
But in their struggles, our own reflection stares
A shared humanity, that meets the morning's radiant gaze

Let empathy's soft whisper awaken our numb souls
And may compassion's warmth, our darkest corners unfold
For in the beauty of the imperfect, we find our grace
And in the worth of the wounded, a gentle, loving embrace
