Woman Wanted On Cape Cod For Second Time In 3 Months

A 27-year-old woman convicted of a fatal hit and run as a teen turned herself in to police in August. She's now wanted again.

YARMOUTH, MA – A convicted felon with a "wide-ranging" criminal record is wanted by police – again. Yarmouth police said Tuesday 27-year-old Gina Giovangelo is wanted on an outstanding warrant on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a license revoked for motor vehicle homicide, giving false information to a police officer and texting while driving.

Giovangelo was the subject of a Yarmouth Police Department's "Wanted Wednesday" post over the summer after she allegedly gave fake information to a police officer Aug. 3. She later turned herself in.

Police said Giovangelo did not comply with court orders after her latest arrest. She has 20 prior criminal charges, including a guilty plea to a fatal hit-and-run in May 2010, according to police.
