Mintons China Set - From $350-$4,000
"I thought perhaps this set might be perfect for summer," said owner Lori Hedtler. Indeed, the coloring makes for a warm-weather look.
"The turquoise jewelling was all rendered by hand – painstakingly timely and accomplished with a combination of raised-paste porcelain and many layers of turquoise enameling," she said.

Hedtler says the collection was manufactured in its entirety by Mintons England, circa 1880, and custom retailed through the prestigious firm of Mortlock's & Co. when they were located on Oxford Street.
"I love how the bright, beautiful 'jewel' beading looks with raised gilt highlights on Minton's signature crisp white bone china," she said. "The set is huge with tureens, platters, 36 salad or dessert plates, 24 dinner plates... it's perfect for a bridal registry or to mix and match with contemporary white and gold."
