Angela Kraft Cross plays Bach at King's Chapel

For this week's recital at King's Chapel, Angela Kraft Cross will present a solo recital on the magnificent C.B. Fisk Organ at King's Chapel.  Her program will feature works by Bach, Buxtehude and others.

A graduate of Oberlin College and Conservatory of Music with degrees in Physics and Organ Performance, Angela Kraft Cross earned her M.D. at Loma Linda University and a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance at the College of Notre Dame.  She has performed extensively across the U.S, in Canada, England, Holland, France, Hungary, Lesotho and Guam. She has been featured soloist with ensembles, choirs and orchestras in San Francisco and Seattle. In July 2011, Dr. Kraft Cross was a featured recitalist at the San Francisco AGO Region IX Convention, premiering Pamela Decker's "Golden Gates". She has released six CDs for Arkay Records and Compass Audio. Three of her organ albums have received critical acclaim in The American Organist magazine. She has served as the organist of the Congregational Church of San Mateo since 1993, and is currently their Artist in Residence. She is also a staff organist at the California Palace of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco.
