Johnson, whose three daughters play in the program and whose husband has coached for years, says she's eager to keep growing a fun, positive lacrosse experience for Bedford families.
• Bedford Select Board Approves Design Changes to Hemlock Lane/Route 62 Intersection (thebedfordcitizen.org) — Bedford's Select Board has approved design changes to the Hemlock Lane and Route 62 intersection, aiming to slow traffic, shorten crossings, and improve safety for drivers and children heading to bus stops. With new speed cushions already in place and more work coming this fall, the town will collect fresh traffic data to see if these neighborhood-calming measures are finally solving long-standing cut-through and speeding problems.
