5th Annual Becca Pizzi Will Take Place On August 30 In Belmont

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be a virtual event this year. Your safety and well-being are of utmost importance to me!

What is a virtual race?

A virtual race is fun and easy, as you get to be race director for a day! Run either a 5k or the kids 1 mile anywhere you would like - on your neighborhood streets, around the high school track, along a favorite trail, or even on a treadmill, make a team with family and/or friends, and submit the results to me! Run your race Sunday, August 30th, (or another day if you can't make the date).

Why run?

All race proceeds benefit the Becca Pizzi Scholarship Foundation for the purpose of awarding college scholarships to Belmont High School seniors. Congratulations to this year's recipients: Kiara Santos, Emma Sutherland and Olivia Zarzycki (pictured)

Swag!

T-shirts, neck gaiters/buffs, Dr Teals Epsom salt, TB12 goodies, and Ultima Replenisher Electrolyte packs, are some of the fun swag that we will be provided to all registered runners!

Bonus Prize

Please take photos of your virtual race and submit them to the Becca Pizzi 5K Facebook Page. Best uploaded photo will win an AWESOME prize, so be creative!

A Huge Thanks

Packet Pick-Up

When: Saturday, August 29th
Time: 12pm - 2pm
Where: Fitness Together, 30 Church Street, Belmont (Waverley Square)
We will be outside under tents with a one-way packet pick up. You must wear masks to pick up bib and race swag. You may pick up your friend's and family’s bibs and swag. If you do not feel comfortable with picking up your packet, please e-mail me at beccapizzi@yahoo.com and we can make other arrangements.

We are hopeful and confident that this virtual event will be a nice distraction, and can help all of us through this tough time. Many thanks, in advance, for participating in year five. Looking forward to getting back to the live racing in year six. Out of all of the things I do, I am most proud of the Becca Pizzi 5k as it is so rewarding giving back to the community that has always supported my dreams.
