Belmont House Candidates to Meet in Arlington July 26
Democrats Margaret Hegarty, Bobby Reardon and Dave Rogers to meet at forum.

The Arlington Democratic Town Committee is sponsoring a candidates forum for a state representative race that affects nearly one-quarter of the town’s residents – but isn’t on the radar of many Arlington voters living in the newly redrawn House district.
The public forum is on Thursday, July 26 from 7-9 p.m. at the , 27 Maple Street (behind ). The candidates vying for the Democratic nomination in the Sept. 6 state primary election will introduce themselves to voters and take questions from the audience. The winner of the primary will advance to the Nov. 6 general election. State Sen. Ken Donnelly will moderate the forum.
“Few people in town are talking about this race, even though 24 percent of residents will be represented by the individual who wins this House seat,” said ADTC chairwoman Aimee Coolidge.
