Belmont Library Introduces New Website July 1
Long-awaited update to internet presence will make surfing books that much easier.
The Belmont Public Library will have a new release that you won't be able to take home.
On Thursday, July 1, the library will launch its new website that will provide a better way patrons and visitors to access resources and learn about the library and events being held.
Emily Smith, Belmont's technology librarian, said that the site has a more inviting and color look than the previous one. Two software consultants built the site using a content management system as a base which should allow quicker uploading of information since librarians will not be required to have an advanced degree in computer since to input data.
